Teeny Tucker

Teeny Tucker is a commanding vocalist, songwriter, and bandleader who has represented Columbus blues on national and international stages. The daughter of rhythm-and-blues singer Tommy Tucker, she forged an artistic identity of her own through powerful performances, thoughtful original material, and a deep respect for blues history.

Tucker’s recordings and tours have earned broad recognition, carrying her to festivals, clubs, and cultural events throughout the United States and Europe. She has performed at major blues gatherings, contributed to educational programs, and used her platform to honor foundational artists—especially the women whose work helped shape the music. Supported over the years by many outstanding Central Ohio players, Tucker has also created opportunities for musicians from her home community. Her induction celebrates an artist of conviction, range, and unmistakable presence.
