Honoring the Legends
Hall of Fame
Since 1989, the Columbus Blues Alliance has recognized the artists, promoters, venue owners, and producers who have given central Ohio its blues legacy. These are the names that built the scene.
About the Program
The 614 Allstars is a year-round performance and education program for young blues musicians ages 14–20. Led by Jeff McCargish, music teacher at Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School, participants rehearse one to two days a week and receive coaching on performing, recording, and the real business of being a professional musician.
CBA currently has two active bands — a seasoned seven-piece group and a younger ensemble full of emerging talent — giving young musicians at every stage a place to develop and grow.
